Our Journey
Journey To The West takes its name from Xiyou Ji (西游记), the classic tale of a pilgrimage across vast distance and difference in search of something worth carrying home. It's the story we see in our own work: building the routes between Chinese culture, Chinese industry, and the global internet.
Founded in China and built for the world, Journey To The West is a registry applicant in the ICANN 2026 new gTLD round, with a portfolio of strings spanning culture, cuisine, craft, and commerce, every one chosen to travel well between scripts, between markets, and between East and West.
